ADAM'S CURSE

In a garden, long ago
Where Paradise was free,
Adam chose to sin one day,
The Curse for you and me.

And since that day each human heart,
Has carried the stone of sin,
And it grows larger with the years,
Till Jesus comes within.

For God so loved He gave His son,
That we might be made free,
And that the load of sin we lost,
He carried to Calvary's Tree.
