EASTER JOY

Candy bunnies, Easter Lilies,
Colored eggs and chicks,
Pretty hats and dresses,
Always seem to mix.

Easter baskets full of sweets,
And sometimes a toy too,
We go to church on Easter morn,
That's what we always do.

I like to hear the pretty songs,
That the Easter choir sings,
About how Jesus rose again,
And the happiness it brings.

So eggs and chicks, and pretty hats,
And candy or a toy,
Is just a little tiny part,
Of what makes Easter Joy.
